US Vietnam Review

Published on

US-Vietnam Review (ISSN 2693-8413) publishes articles in English and Vietnamese in three broad areas, including developments in contemporary Vietnam, the history and future of US-Vietnam relations, and the Vietnamese-American community.

We invite contributions by scholars, writers, experts, and activists in the forms of book reviews, research notes, analyses of current affairs, interviews with scholars and community leaders, and reports on source materials and research findings. Please send your inquiries and contributions to Dr. Khoi Nguyen at khoin@uoregon.edu. We seek rigorous and informative analyses and welcome a diversity of viewpoints in our journal. The views expressed in our journal are those of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the official positions of the US-Vietnam Research Center.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Except for special materials, articles should not exceed 2000 words. If the article is longer, the Editorial Board may divide it into several parts for readers’ convenience.
  2. We prefer a neutral journalistic style.
  3. We encourage creative, diverse forms of presentation such as bullet points, numbering of ideas and paragraphs and so on.
  4. Keywords are for indexing purposes, reflecting the main content of the article.
  5. Each author has their own page on the journal website. First-time submitters should include a brief biography and a photo so we can establish an author page.
  6. For submissions containing images, please attach JPEG files at the highest resolution with accompanying captions.
  7. For citations: place citations at the end of the article.
